Ministries--Make a Difference

If you wish to get involved with ministry at St. Thomas here are a few suggestions:

Music

If you love to sing, join the choir!  All you need is the ability to carry a tune.  Our Juilliard-trained choir director will have you soaring to new heights in no time.  And you'll get a chance to perform at our annual coffee house and cabaret fundraisers as well!  (Contact: Maria Corley)

Outreach

Once a year, St. Thomas parishioners offer a meal to the hungry and homeless at the Crispus Attucks Community Center in Lancaster.  Help cook and serve!  It provides a great time of fellowship for us and a real opportunity to help out those in need.

We also support various local and international groups. (Contact: Tracy Robinson or Wendy Souders)

Women's Group

Women in Motion is the St. Thomas women's group.  Our aim has been to connect the women of our parish across generations and to celebrate the ways in which we are connected to God. We have come together through understanding, prayer, socializing, networking, and outreach to share our lives and work on common projects. We have also done studies of scripture, mini retreats, breakfast "out," and several book discussions.

Such gatherings have enriched our lives, moved us forward on our spiritual journey, and encouraged friendships. We are very loosely organized, we share in the planning responsibilities, and we definitely are... Women in Motion!  (Contact: Suzanne Burger)

Men's Breakfast

Every Thursday, a group of men from the parish gather at 6:45 AM at Lititz Family Cupboard Restaurant for breakfast and fellowship.  Come and enjoy good conversation, a few laughs, and plenty of coffee!  (Contact: Ken Moyer)
